Yolo Bypass Cache Slough Master Plan

The Yolo Bypass Cache Slough (YBCS) Master Plan is a State of California document that supports continued efforts of the YBCS Partnership. The California Department of Water Resources (DWR) developed the Public Draft of the YBCS Master Plan in close coordination with the Central Valley Flood Protection Board (CVFPB). DWR and CVFPB received input from other members of the YBCS Partnership and California Tribes during the planning process.

The YBCS Master Plan’s Purpose is to:

  • Guide continued project planning and implementation consistent with the Central Valley Flood Protection Plan and its Conservation Strategy
  • Inform the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Yolo Bypass System Comprehensive Study
  • Support continued efforts to advance the goals of the YBCS Partnership
